Seccional works with weathering steel, which has a yield limit much higher than conventional steel. It has small alloy contents, such as copper, chromium, phosphorus, niobium, which allow the formation of a compact and adherent oxide film on its surface.

As demonstrated in the excellent article by Prof. Dr. Elber Vidigal Bendinelli, the combination of zinc, with a low corrosion rate, and weatherable steel, with the formation of a protective patina, is a very efficient anticorrosive protection solution for protecting against atmospheric corrosion. Additionally, the structures are hot-dip galvanized. This is just one of our differences in safety and durability that we guarantee.
